The Fuel injection for the Ford TDCI engine as fitted to the Zetec S 130 PS block IMHO is atrocious. The fuel pump bearings break up and require the pump to be replaced. This causes metal particles to get into the injectors and the whole rest of the fuel system through the fuel return line from the injectors.
